New CEO appointed to Te Runanganui o Ngati Porou
Te Runanganui o Ngati Porou is very pleased to announce the appointment of a new Chief Executive Officer, George Reedy. Mr Reedy, a chartered accountant, has, for the past 7 years, been employed as CEO with Te Taiwhenua o Heretaunga based in Hastings. In that role he has been responsible for the delivery of iwi wellbeing services mainly in health, social services, housing, and mental health and addictions. Mr Reedy also has commercial experience and therefore comes to Te Runanganui with valuable skills and knowledge from both the public and private sectors.
Mr Reedy will serve out his notice to his current employer before taking up his new position with Ngati Porou. He will succeed Herewini Te Koha who resigned from the CEO position last year.
Mr Reedy is the son of Te Moana Rangi and Apikara Dewes of Tikitiki. His birth parents are Ta Tamati Reedy and Lady Tilly Reedy.
