The July 2015 Edition of Nati Link was dedicated to and inspired by the legacy of Dr Apirana Mahuika, former Chairman of Te Runanganui o Ngati Porou.
Dr Mahuika or "Uncle Api" or "Papa Api" as he was also affectionally known by, passed away in February earlier this year. The July issue of Nati Link was the first time the magazine had been published since his passing, and within its pages contained stories which represented and reflected the kaupapa Uncle Api held close to his heart.
