Te Runanganui o Ngati Porou have been working in the housing sector for over 20 years. The vision has always been for Ngati Porou whanau to have access to decent and affordable housing appropriate to their needs.
Our mahi to encourage home ownership includes:
- Home ownership workshops
- Papakainga workshops
- Relocatable housing schemes
- Work as an accredited social housing provider
- Advocating on a national and regional level for Ngati Porou’s housing needs.
Housing Co-ordinator
Hine Manuel is the dedicated Housing Co-ordinator for Te Runanganui o Ngati Porou.
Hine supports and advises those who need housing assistance and runs regular workshops to help prospective home owners find out what is involved in purchasing their own home.
If you are looking at getting into home ownership, Hine can advise you on things like valuations, lawyers, license to occupy, insurance, finance etc. If you need help finding a rental home, Hine may also be able to help.
