About The Role
Reporting into the Board the CEO is the “tip of the spear”. The CEO leads the business in a manner to deliver long term, sustainable growth to benefit shareholders and stakeholders.
More specifically, the role provides effective Leadership and Management to maximise shareholder value by setting strategy and direction; modelling and setting the Company’s culture, values and behaviour; building and leading the senior executive team, managing risks and external relationships; allocating capital across Company priorities to maximise profitability and being accountable for performance of the Ngati Porou Seafoods Group.
The CEO develops and ensures the capability and capacity of the business to deliver sustainable, long term asset growth and value.
The CEO is responsible for developing the people capability and capacity of the business, and provide the resources to deliver that sustainable growth. Nurture and manage the development of people, their skills and outcomes in all areas of the business.
The CEO is charged to execute and deliver results consistently to the expectations of all shareholders.
The CEO manages all operational and logistical aspects of running the business, with emphasis on ensuring effective health and safety systems.

As an accomplished people manager, you will have proven senior level operational and commercial experience and be highly effective at setting a clear vision that people connect to and deliver against. Ideally you will be degree qualified with a background in FMCG.
