K & M Contractors

K & M Contractors has been operating for a number of years and has contracts to move refuse and recyclables from the Waikohu Area transfer stations to All Brites,Innes Street,Gisborne as well as the Waiapu Area transfer stations to the Waiapu Area Landfill at Thatchers Road, Ruatoria. Caretaking in the Te Araroa,Ruatoria and Te Puia townships is another contractual obligation. Maintenance in the Ruatoria township is overseen by K & M Contractors too.

K & M Contractors does work for Fulton Hogan Ltd and HEBs on the roads as or when needed.

K & M Contractors has metalling trucks, tractors, diggers, industrial mowers, a crane truck and walking floor trailer, a crane truck which tows the transporter to move a digger to various job sites and is also backup to the main crane truck,a compactor and a Hi Ab truck used mainly at the transfer station as well as another which is used for uplifting recyclables along with a high sided trailer.
