Thousands converge on Tikitiki to mourn the passing of Ngati Porou leader, Dr Apirana Mahuika. Among the manuhiri were tribes from Te Tairawhiti, Ngati Kahungungu, Mataatua and Te Taitokerau.  The first contingent of parliamentarians also came to pay their respects today.
