Te Runanganui o Ngāti Porou Board Announce new Chairperson and Deputy Chairperson

The new board of Te Runanganui o Ngati Porou met for the first time yesterday, confirming the appointment of their Chairperson and Deputy Chairperson of the organisation – Patrick Tangaere and Hekia Parata!

Patrick is an elected representative for Rohenga Tipuna 2 - Whangaokena ki Waiapu, director of Ngati Porou Oranga, and Chairperson of Toitu Ngati Porou board.

Hekia is an elected representative for Rohenga Tipuna 3 – Pohautea ki Te Onepoto.
